The Challenge

We purchased 12 building lots under the CROWN Program through Utah Housing Corporation (UHC) in 2021.

Through the CROWN program, these families are not just renters—they're building their futures. CROWN, which stands for CRedits to OWN, enables qualified individuals to lease homes at affordable rates while earning financial credit towards the eventual purchase of the home they live in.

The 12 lots are on scattered sites in the same subdivision and will be four bedroom, two bath homes. They will serve families at 55% or under area median income.  

The Result

Completed over the last two years, 6 homes were filled in 2023 and another 6 in 2024. Each of these homes spans approximately 1,500 square feet, featuring 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2-car garages, and fully fenced backyards, providing privacy and space for growing families. Whether it’s a single-level design, a two-story home, or one of the 4 homes with walkout basements, each home is crafted to meet the diverse needs of our residents.
