The Challenge

In October of 2020 we completed building three single-family homes under the CROWN Program through Utah Housing Corporation (UHC). UHC administers the tax credit program for the State of Utah.

The CROWN Program is an initiative that allows renters to purchase the home they are living in after 15 years. During the 15 year rental period, a portion of the rent being paid increases the equity in the home thus greatly reducing the loan amount at year 15 if the renter chooses to buy the home. 

The Result

The three homes are on scattered sites and are four bedroom, two bath homes. They serve families at 55% or under area median income.
